Glenwood E WILLIAMS, son of August and Mary Jane [Wilson] Williams, was born in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA, on 25 Jun 1921. At the age of 72, he died on 6 Sep 1993. He was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA. Section Two, Row #8.
There is a bronze marker at the foot of Glenwood’s grave which reads:
“Glenwood E. Williams, CPL US Army, World War II, June 25 1921 — Sept 6 1993”
Hanna R [SIPPLE] Williams
Hanna, daughter of Harry SIPPLE & Ruth BROKENSHIRE, was born 26 Jul 1927 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, PA.
On 27 Oct 1945 Glenwood and Hanna were married in Mount Carmel, Rev William H Quad officiating.
They had the following children:
i. Glenn Ed WILLIAMS
ii. Mona WILLIAMS
iii. Harriet WILLIAMS
iv. Alfred WILLIAMS
