OBITUARIES for ANNA CATHARINE LANDIS BEERS

MRS. DAVID BEERS

Succumbing to tuberculosis, Mrs. David Beers, passed away, Thursday, March 18, [1920], at 2 o'clock, at her home in Bunkertown, aged about 70 years.

Besides her husband, deceased is survived by the following children, Lemuel, E. Salem; John, McAlisterville; Samuel, Wabassa, Fla.; Benjamin, at home; Mrs. Elmer Smith, Fort Pierce, Fla.; Mrs. O. E. Schell, Bunkertown; Mrs. Edward Rupert, Pittsburgh.

Funeral services were held last Monday at 10 o'clock from the Goodville Church conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. E. Rowland. Interment in the Bunkertown Cemetery.

On the day of her death, Mrs. Beers had been married exactly 45 years and one month. She was married on February 18, 1875.

MRS. ANNA BEERS

MRS. ANNA C. (LANDIS) BEERS was born Feb. 12, 1852 and died March 18, 1920, aged 68 yers, 1 month and 6 days. She was married to David Beers, Feb. 18, 1875. Deceased united with the dhurch of the Brethren in 1885 and was a mother of five sons and four daughters, two of these having already passed beyond. She was a good mother and a loyal companion to her bereaved husband and will be sorely missed by all who learned to know her.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Dora Smith, Ft. Pierce, Fla.; Lemuel Beers, East Salem, Pa.; John L. Beers, McAlisterville; Samuel Beers, Wabassa, Fla.; Mrs. Lillie Schell, of Cocolamus; Mrs. E. L. Rupert, Pittsburg; Benjamin B. Beers, at home.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 22nd, at 10 pm at the church in Bunkertown, conducted by Rev. john Rolland.
