Arthur S Hornberger, son of of Irvin M. Hornberger (1866-1948) and Amelia Jemina [Wolf] Hornberger (1869-1952), was born 27 Feb 1911 in Point Township, RD Northumberland County, PA. At the age of 69 he died 18 Aug 1980.

Arthur S. Hornberger

SUNBURY - Arthur S. Hornberger, 69, of 420 Race St., a retired electrician, died Monday in the Sunbury Community Hospital. Mr. Hornberger worked at various construction projects through out the country. He was a member of the Northumberland Moose Lodge 897; VFW of Northumberland; International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; National Rifle Association; and a life-member of the Goodwill Hose Company of Sunbury.
Born in Point Township Feb. 27, 1911, he was a son of the late Irvin and Amelia Wolfe Hornberger. In 1938, he married the former Dorothy C. Bingaman, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ada Phillips of Danville.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury, by the Rev. Vitolds Gobins, pastor of the United Lutheran Church, Sunbury RD4. Burial will be in the United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sunbury RD4. Friends may call in the funeral home Wednesday evening.
