Bessie Ferris DAW, daughter of Frederick (1854-1916) & Margaret DAVID (1854-1936) Daw, was born in Miners Mills, Luzerne County, PA. At the age of 62, she died in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, PA, on 27 Mar 1956.
On 21 Oct 1912 when Bessie Ferris DAW, was19 years old, she married Evan John Thomas, who was 22, in Miners Mills, Luzerne County, PA.
They had the following children:
i. Mary Margaret THOMAS (1914-1979)
ii. Thelma F THOMAS (1918-1973)
iii. Catherine Daw THOMAS (1920-1987)
iv. Betty THOMAS (~1925-)
v. Gloria Swanson THOMAS (1926-1977)
Note: Their first born, Mary Margaret [Thomas] Hughes was buried in the adjoining grave 4; unmarked.
