Nikolaus Bold was born in the German Village of Neubeschenowa, Timis, Banat, Hungary, from where he immigrated to the US in 1903, via Baltimore. He was the first of this family to arrive, later followed by his first wife Katharina nee Regert with their 3 children, his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Sebastian Lecher and their 3 children.
Katharina died in Baltimore during the 1908 flue epidemic. Nik then married the widow Magdalena Kirsch, nee Leisz, who also had 4 children, the youngest of whom is interred here.
