Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Mrs. Lois Skinner
Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Maxine Skinner, 28, who died Saturday morning at the Fairview Hospital, following an illness of two years, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel in Bradford. The Rev. Keith Perry, pastor of the Degolia and Lewis Run E.U.B. Churches, officiated. Burial was in the McKean Memorial Park.
Mrs. Skinner, the wife of William C. Skinner, at present of Bordell, resided in Smethport until ten years ago. She was born December 13, 1921, at Oil City, Pa., and moved to Smethport with her parents in 1926. She had resided in Smethport and Rew most of her life. She was a member of the Maud Rebekah Lodge of Rew. Ill a number of years, her health began to fail seriously in May, 1949.
Mrs. Skinner is survived by her husband: five children, Carol Ann, Sandra Lois, Jacquelyn Sue, William Edward and Sheila Marie Skinner: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Goodman, Bradford: two brothers, Burdell Goodman, Canal Winchester, Oh., and Larry Goodman, U.S. Navy; six sisters, Mrs. Don Swiger; Mrs. William Salada, Bradford; Mrs. Leo Flanders, Lewis Run; Mrs. Charles Holden, Foster Hollow; Mrs. Bernard Finnerty, Canal Winchester, Oh; and Mrs. William Ross, Custer City.
