Son of the late Roy and Nina (Whiteman) Edmiston. He married Helen G. Dengate on Dec. 26, 1942
Army veteran serving during World War II as a staff sergeant.
He was awarded three Bronze Stars for his valor during the Battle of the Bulge in Rhineland, Germany, and D-Day in Normandy.
