Obituary:
Charles Kissinger, 59, of 925 S. 29th Street, Camp Hill, died Wednesday in Snyder County while deer hunting. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Shiremanstown, and a retired employee of Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frieda E. Kissinger; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Lane, of Jacksonville, Florida and Mrs. Cynthia VanNostrand, of Lakewood, NY; his father, Joseph, of Freeburg; three brothers, Robert, of Selinsgrove, Warren, of Harrisburg, and George, of Freeburg; a sister, Mrs. Helen Nolder, of Selinsgrove; and three grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 11am at the funeral home in McAListerville. The Rev. Forrest B. Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Goodwill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 pm. (The Evening News - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)

Obituary:
Orange ParK, FL: Frieda E. Kissinger, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on November 16, 1918, in Juniata County, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Schell. Her husband Charles B. Kissinger, whom she married on October 19, 1940, preceded her in death on December 1, 1976. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lane and her husband Edward of Orange Park, FL and Cynthia VanNostrand and husband Roger of New York; a sister Hilda Shotsberger of Camp Hill. She also leaves behind five grandchildren. Douglas VanNostrand, Keith VanNostrand, Deb Scott and her husband Craig, Terry Lane, and John Lane and his wife Vicky, also many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were six brothers, Arthur Schell, Homer Schell, John Schell, Elmer Schell, Robert Schell, Donald Schell, and four sister, Florence Eagler, Juniata Querry, Anna Fry, and Bernice Imler. Mrs. Kissinger had been a member of the Shiremanstown United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. 16 Westfall Street, McAlisterville, with the Pastor Greg Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery R.R. #2, McAlisterville. Viewing will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service Saturday, at the funeral home.
