Samuel found the cubic stone while lumbering. James Endslow (great-great-grandson) had the stone engraved and placed on the site.
Church records indicate that Eliza was actually interred in the Upper Toboyne Presbyterian Cemetery, Blain with her son, James. James died in Camp Griffin in Virginia during the Civil War in 1862.
