George W was born in Jonestown, PA, on 2 Sep 1881, son of Charles & Elizabeth Hobson. At the age of 78, he died in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA, on 1 May 1960. George was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA. Section One, Row #2. Occupation: Iron Worker - 1905.
On 14 Jun 1905 when George W was 23, he married Anna WILLIAMS, daughter of Henry John WILLIAMS (27 Jan 1854-25 Apr 1936) & Elizabeth DEIS (12 Jan 1851-10 May 1920), in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA. Rev. Albert Gonser officiated the wedding.
Anna was born in Hazelton, Luzerne County, PA, on 2 Sep 1884. At the age of 63, she died in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA, on 27 Jan 1948. Anna was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA. Section One, Row #2.
“Mrs. George Hobson” 407 E Centre, Mt. Carmel, PA appears as the Informant on the Certificate of Death of Henry Williams.
They had one child: Carl W. (1917-1966)
