Earl Leroy Brosious was born in Limestone Valley, R.D.#1, Northumberland County, PA, on 23 Jan 1918. At the age of 65, he died on 28 Oct 1983. Earl was buried in Promfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA in the Brosious family plot.

Earl was christened and worshipped with the family at the Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church near the family home in Sunbury.

Earl appears in the 1920 federal census for Upper Augusta Twp, Northumberland County, PA.

Earl Brosious

SUNBURY - Earl “Baldy” Brosious, 65, of 1159 Market St., died last evening in the Leader Nursing Home, Sunbury. Born Jan. 23, 1918, in Upper Augusta Township, he was a son of the late Eben and Delilah Apker Brosious.
He was a 1937 graduate of Sunbury High School. He served in the Army in 1942, was a sexton of Pomfret Manor, Sunbury, and was last employed as a custodian in the Shikellamy Middle School. Mr. Brosious was a member of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, Sunbury, and a life member of the Goodwill Hose Company.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ruth Brown of Sunbury; and two brothers, Lloyd of Vestel, N.Y., and Paul of Shrub Oak, N.Y.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury, by the Rev. Leroy S. Heller. Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
Friends may call in the funeral home Monday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
