Robert B. Davis
1907-2006
Mr. Robert B. Davis, 99, of Hatch Hollow Rd., Union City, Pa., passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, May 2, 2006. He was born February 27, 1907 in Wattsburg, Pa., the son of the late George and Clara Davis. He was a potato farmer until his retirement, and was a member of the Pennsylvania Potato Growers Association, and also a member of the Eureka Lodge, F. and AM. #366, Masons. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, tilling the land and frugality. He watched the progression of travel from the days of the horse and buggy to modern space travel and the automobiles of today. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Wojcicki) Davis in 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Ferraro, and her husband, Robert, of Erie, Pa.; three sons, Robert J. Davis and his wife, Barbara, James R. Davis and his wife, Ellen, and Gregory Davis, all of Union City, Pa.; and several grandchildren.
