The Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church at Plum Creek in Rockefeller Township was organized in 1844 as an offshoot from other Lutheran congregations. This church typifies the history and experience of many of these small country churches, and attests to the pioneer spirit that drove the early settlement and development of Northumberland County. Over the years this congregation merged with other Church’s in the area leaving it unused. Now this beautiful church is a good family home.
