Benjamin Franklin Arndt, my g-g-grandfather, was one of the first settlers in the Stroud Township area of Monroe county. He was on the board of trustees that formed the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, located on route 611, near Wigwam Park Road. He relocated from the Easton, PA area and homesteaded on the Wigwam Park Road area near Wigwam Lake. His wife, Mary Ann Posten Arndt and one son, Jesse, are buried near this stone.
