Henry, son of Henry John (1854 - 1936) and Elizabeth (1851 - 1920) [Deis] Williams, was born in Hazelton, Luzerne County, PA, on 14 Apr 1882.

At the age of 73, he died in Shamokin RD 1, Northumberland County, PA, on 7 Aug 1955. Henry was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Northumberland County, PA, on 10 Aug 1955. Section Nine, Row #8; Funeral Director Willard A. Rothermel, Mt. Carmel. Henry spent the last seven and a half years of his life in a nursing home. From Feb 22, 1948 until his death.

1The 1910 Census indicated the Williams Family lived at 9 Chestnut Street, Mount Carmel, PA.


On 28 Nov 1907 when Henry E was 25, he married Caroline May BENFIELD, daughter of Henry Bray BENFIELD (1858-1930) & Bertha Hannah LIEBAU (1860-1936), in Centralia, Columbia County, PA.

Caroline May was born in West Pittston, Luzerne County, PA, on 25 Oct 1885. At the age of 82, she died in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, on 22 Oct 1968. Caroline May was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Northumberland, PA, on 26 Oct 1968. Rothermel Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Clergy - Rev C. K. Spachman. Section Nine, Row #8.
