Dr. Paul Romain BROSIOUS was born in Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA, on 12 Sep 1938. At the age of 46, he died in Mount Kisco, NY, on 26 Oct 1984, at the Northern Westchester Medical Center. Paul Romain was buried in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA, on 29 Oct 1984.
On 3 Sep 1966 when Paul Romain was 27, he married Lorraine Kay ACKER, daughter of Lawrence Willard ACKER & Aletha Irma ACKER, in Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA.

Dr. Paul R. Brosious
SUNBURY - Dr. Paul R. Brosious, 46, of Shrub Oak, N.Y., a native of Sunbury, died yesterday in the Northern Westchester Medical Center, Mount Kisco, N.Y. Death was from cardiac arrest.
Born in Sunbury, Sept. 12, 1938, he was the son of the late Eben and Delilah Apker Brosious. He was married to the former Lorraine K. Acker. He attended Sunbury schools and Bloomsburg and Bucknell universities. He received his doctorate from the State University of New York at Albany. He was a research physicist and worked for IBM at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown, N.Y.
While in Sunbury, he attended the Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, Sunbury. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Peekskill where he was a Sunday School teacher, leader of the Boys Brigade, and a member of the church softball team. He was also a former deacon of the church. He formerly coached the SOAP. He belonged to many professional organizations and societies.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are two sons, Paul Jr., and Jonathan, both at home; two daughters, Lisa and Holly, both at home, a brother, Lloyd of Vestal, N.Y. and a sister Ruth Brown of Sunbury.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Peekskill, N.Y. to be conducted by Rev Stephen Paine. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. in the Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, by the Rev. LeRoy Heller of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, Sunbury.
Friends may call at the E. O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the church in Peekskill.
