The east face of his marker reads:

AGED 51 Y 8 M 13 D
This grave is in the west cemetery section, in the first row, counting from the west wall of the Salem Lutheran Church. It is in a family plot, located next to markers of J. M. and George Miller (b 1789, d 1859).
